About Avery Sharp

Avery Sharp is a visual artist located in Alabama that focuses on painting; she especially creates works that incorporate the human form and figure. She has been passionate about the arts since an early age, starting to draw and paint before she could read. Now at 20, she is continuing to develop those skills. Avery is pursuing a BFA in art at The University of Montevallo, AL. She aims to capture the beauty and creativity that the human figure can provide; through fluidity, ambiguity, and creativity.

She has a passion for painting portraits, and strives to start a career as a working artist, completing commissions and even creating large scale works such as murals. Currently, Avery is completing an internship at EG Art Studios, where she assists Emma in painting murals around the Birmingham area.
